New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has officially invited applications for the post of Director (Technical) in Eastern Coalfields Limited (ECL). The recruitment notification was issued on Tuesday (October 14, 2025), with November 4, 2025, set as the deadline for submission of applications.
The position will become vacant on May 1, 2026, following the superannuation of the incumbent Director (Technical), Niladri Roy, who is scheduled to retire on April 31, 2026.
Eligibility Criteria for Applicants

- Be qualified Mining Engineers holding a First Class Certificate of Competency under the Indian Mines Act.
