IPS officer Mr. Rajesh Pandey who recently retired as IG, Bareilly range is now a popular face on social media. The 2003 batch IPS officer who joined the police services after passing UPPCS exam has been a very successful officer on field. He is credited with finishing several gangs operating in organized crime. Good most prized target was one of infamous gangster Shri Prakash Shukla, who himself had killed 99 persons including Bihar minister Brij Bihari Prasad and Eastern UP mafia Virendra Kumar Shahi. Shukla was do notorious that he had even planned up kill the then state chief minister Mr Kalyan Singh.
In the career spanning over three decades, Mr Pandey served in most important district of Uttar Pradesh like Meerut, Bareilly, Lucknow and Agra as SP, DIG and IG but was also part of United Nations Peace Keeping mission at Kaphi Kosovo for a significant time. He also played a key role in establishment of Special Task Force and Anti-terrorist squad in UP.
He has years of experience in investigation of crimes and dealing with criminals. Now, he is bringing those stories from his on-field experience for the viewers through his ‘Kissagoi’ series. Mr. Pandey has completed more than 350 episodes and have shared various real life crime stories through his YouTube channel and Facebook page.
