**Literature, wildlife, photography and conservation came together in Corbett, Uttarakhand, for the inaugural Corbett Literature Festival, titled *3 Days in the Wild*.**
Held from October 6 to 8, 2026, the three-day festival brought together writers, conservationists, wildlife photographers, filmmakers and nature enthusiasts to explore the natural world through different perspectives.
Featuring over 30 voices across more than 20 sessions, the festival explored wildlife conservation, nature writing, the Himalayas, photography, filmmaking and Uttarakhand’s rich cultural heritage.
The festival also featured photography exhibitions, documentary screenings, book stalls, handicrafts and cultural activities. Films by Vikramjit Singh Bal and environmental journalist, photographer and filmmaker Ajay Suri brought wildlife stories to the audience through the power of cinema and visual storytelling.
Singer Jubin Nautiyal was among the attendees, adding to the festival’s diverse mix of voices. A special recognition of forest guards also highlighted the contribution of those working on the ground to protect forests and wildlife.
But beyond the sessions, films and exhibitions, the festival raised a larger question: **How can we bring more people into conversations about nature and conservation?**
