Over 11,000 Appointments Expected to Strengthen Bihar’s Healthcare System
The State Health Society Executive Director said that filling more than 11,000 positions in the first phase is expected to bring significant and positive changes to Bihar’s healthcare sector.
The availability of dedicated teams to support doctors and paramedical staff at the block and panchayat levels is expected to improve the quality of primary healthcare, particularly in remote areas.
The recruitment will also help balance the number of healthcare workers against patient requirements in district and sub-divisional hospitals. This is expected to reduce the excessive workload on existing staff.
Adequate numbers of nurses and laboratory technicians will help patients receive timely diagnostic reports and better-quality healthcare services.
Similarly, the appointment of Block Health Managers and clerical staff is expected to improve the implementation of government health schemes, making their delivery faster and more transparent for the public.
Bihar Health Recruitment Process to Be Completed in 6-7 Months
Choudhary said the recruitment calendar has almost been finalised and will be made public once it receives approval.
The department aims to complete the entire recruitment process within six to seven months of the release of the official notification.
The process will include candidate selection, document verification and distribution of appointment letters. The department intends to complete all stages in a transparent and error-free manner.
With more than 11,000 appointments planned in the first phase, the recruitment drive is expected to create employment opportunities while strengthening healthcare infrastructure and service delivery across Bihar.
