The Government of Assam issued a transfer order of two senior bureaucrats just after Himanta Biswa Sarma, newly elected CM of Assam, took the oath on Monday.
1994 batch IAS officer Samir K Sinha has been appointed as the Principal Secretary to the CM with an additional charge of Principal Secretary to the Govt of Assam, Finance department and Additional Principal Resident Commissioner, Assam Bhawan.
Whereas, 1989 batch IAS Paban Kumar Borthakur has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary, Transformation & Development and Cultural Affairs Departments. He was currently holding the charge of Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister.
