The government of Punjab, via a circular issued by the Department of Personnel & Training (DoPT), has mandated the transfer of 38 IAS officers. Among the transferees are:
Mr. Vikas Pratap (1994-batch IAS officer), became the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of Excise. Mr. Alok Shekhar (1994-batch IAS officer), got an additional charge as the ACS of the Department of Justice.
Mr. Krishan Kumar (1997-batch IAS officer) was charged with additional duties as Finance Commissioner in the Taxation Department. Mr. Priyank Bharti (2001-batch IAS officer) was charged with additional duties as Administrative Secretary of the New and Renewable Energy Sources Department.
Mr. Malwinder Singh Jaggi (2001-batch IAS officer) was charged with additional duties as Administrative Secretary of Tourism & Cultural Affairs.
