Giving suggestions for UPSC aspirants, Mr. Yadav said, “There are some basic qualities that should be in UPSC aspirants. If one has those, then surely he or she will get success. First, never fear hard work. There is no shortcut. Second, you have to develop persistence. Never take your failures to heart, and always try to improve yourself. Lastly, always carry self-confidence and self-belief. Your marks do not describe who you are, only your hard work does.”

He also asked aspirants to always take care of their mental health and share their issues with their guardians.
