11 IPS officers serving as SP in CBI has been promoted to DIG (Deputy Inspector General) rank. The officers promoted includes Nupur Prasad (2007 batch) Atul Kumar Thakur (2008 batch) from AGMUT cadre.
Two officers from Chhattisgarh cadre Abhishek Shandilya and Neethu Kamal has also been promoted. The promoted officers also include Dr Sadanand Date (IPS:2007:UK), Akhilesh Kumar Singh (IPS:2008:MH), Lovely Katiyar (IPS:2008:RJ), Sonal Chandra (IPS:2008:TN), Kiran S (IPS:2008:UP). Besides them promoted officers also include two from MP cadre. They are Jayadevan A (IPS:2008:MP) and Shiyas A (IPS:2008:MP).
TWO DIG Rank’s officers tenure extended
The tenure of two IPS officers serving in CBI as DIG has been extended till further notice. The officers are Ms. Gagandeep Gambhir (IPS:2004:GJ) and Raghavendra Vasta (IPS:2005:GJ)
