The Tamil Nadu state government has ordered the transfer of 13 IPS officer which includes SPs of six district. IPS officer of 1998 batch D Kalpana Nayak has been appointed as IGP, Vigilance, Tamil Nadu Generation and Distribution Corporation Ltd., (TANGEDCO), Chennai.
A Jayalakshmi has been posted as SP, State Police Modern Control Room, Chennai while S Selvanagarathinam of 2014 batch will take charge as Deputy Director, Training, Tamil Nadu Police Academy. Dr. Abhinav Kumar of 2009 batch is DCP, Law & Order, Tiruppur City and S Aravind is DCP, Intelligence Section-I, Greater Chennai Police.
An 2011 batch IPS Bandi Gangadhar appointed as AIGP, Modernisation, Office of the DGP/HoPF. S Vimala will take the post of SP, Special Investigation Cell, Vigilance & Anti-Corruption, Chennai.
Suguna Singh (2013), N S Nisha (2014) will take the post of SP, Chengalpattu and Mayiladudurai respectively. Saroj Kumar Thakur (2010 is the new SP, Krishnagiri and E Sai Charan Tejaswi (2014) is SP, Namakkal. V Badrinarayan (2004) will take charge as SP, Coimbatore and D N Hari Kiran Prasad (2016) of SP, Kanniyakumari.
