IPS Ashwini Dorje has been appointed as the new joint police commissioner in Nagpur. While her husband Cherring Dorje will be serving as Inspector General replacing Mr. Chiranjeev Prasad .
The two officers were posted in Nagpur during statewide reshuffling of the senior level officers.
Ms Dorje has also served as DCP Zone 2 in the city and also was a director of Nashik Police Academy. On the other hand Cherring Dorje was serving as a special Inspector General (prisons ) replacing Deepak Pande. He has also worked as an Additional Commissioner of Police (Armed Police), Brihan Mumbai .
