13 IAS Promoted To Additional Secretary Level In GoI

The ACC has upgraded the post of 13 senior IAS officer to Additional Secretary level in the Government of India.

The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has temporarily upgraded 13 IAS officers to the post of Additional Secretary in the Government of India. Here are the names of the officers who have been transferred with immediate effect:

  • Samir Kumar Biswas IAS (1990 batch), Joint Secretary- Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals has been promoted as Additional Secretary- Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals.
  • T K Ramachandran IAS (1991 batch), Chairman- VO Chidambaranar Port Trust, Tuticorin, Ministry of Shipping.
  • Sumita Dawra IAS (1991 batch) who was currently serving as Joint Secretary- Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade has now been promoted as Additional Secretary- Department for Promotion of Industry & Internal Trade.
  • Pankaj Agrawal IAS (1992 batch), Joint Secretary- Cabinet Secretariat posted as Additional Secretary- Cabinet Secretariat.
  • Rajat Kumar Mishra IAS (1992 batch), Joint Secretary- Department of Economic Affairs promoted as Additional Secretary- Department of Economic Affairs.
  • Ashish Srivastava IAS (1992 batch), Joint Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development has been promoted as Additional Secretary- Ministry of Women and Child Development.
  • Ashish Kumar Bhutani IAS (1992 batch), CEO- Pradhan Mantri Fasal Bima Yojana, Ministry of Agriculture & Farmers Welfare has been promoted as Additional Secretary.
  • Punya Salila Srivastava IAS (1993 batch), Joint Secretary- Department of Home, Ministry of Home Affairs has been promoted as Additional Secretary- Department of Home, Ministry of Home Affairs.
  • Amit Agrawal IAS (1993 batch), Joint Secretary, Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance has been promoted as Additional Secretary- Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance.
  • Sandeep Pondrik IAS (1993 batch), Advisor- National Disaster Management Authority has been given in-situ up-gradation as Additional Secretary.
  • Sukriti Likhi IAS (1993 batch), Joint Secretary, Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises has now been promoted as Additional Secretary, Department of Heavy Industry, Ministry of Heavy Industries and Public Enterprises.
  • Alok IAS (1993 batch), Member (Admn.)- National Highways Authority of India has been given in-situ up-gradation as Additional Secretary.
  • Nagaraju Maddirala IAS (1993 batch), Joint Secretary- Ministry of Coal has been promoted as Additional Secretary, Ministry of Coal.
