IAS Officer of 2008 batch, Amit Satija, has been appointed as the health secretary in the place of Nila Mohanan who has been mitigated from the Goa administration to undertake a new designation in Delhi, just a day after the Union Ministry issued the statement ordering his transfer out of Goa.
Mr. Satija will continue holding the portfolios of urban development, transport, science and technology, factories and boilers, CEO of entertainment society of Goa and Nodal officer SBM (U). Former to this, he was the commissioner of excise.
Mr. Satija was transferred to the Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu administration, by the Union Home Ministry, which is the cadre controlling authority in India, on Monday, 5th October, 2020.
The environment portfolio that Mr. Satija held has been handed to Secretary Elections Kunal. The chief electoral officer has also been given portfolios of power and non-conventional energy.
The section of mines and geology will be handled by chief secretary Parimal Rai along with the portfolios of vigilance/chief vigilance, home, personnel, ARD, PWD and civil aviation.
Sanjay will also hold portfolios of revenue, education, information, publicity, IT and labor, and employment besides education.
J Ashok Kumar is secretary to chief minister as well as sports and youth affairs, tourism, handicraft and PPP division, in addition to holding industries, trade and commerce.
Sanjay Gihar, Secretary Water Resources is also secretary provider of rural development, panchayats, housing, official language and nodal officer SBM (R) and PMAY R.
Kuldeep Singh Gangar is secretary agriculture, animal husbandry, and veterinary services, public grievances, secretary Goa state commission for protection of child rights.
Isha Khosla who is a resident commissioner of Goa Sadan, New Delhi and Tariq Thomas is the director of urban development and special secretary personnel, home and vigilance
