The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet approved the appointment of IAS officer Mr. Nilesh Deore as Private Secretary to Union Steel Minister Mr. Ram Chandra Prasad Singh. The official order issued by the DoPT department of the government states that the appointment of Mr.
Nilish Deore in the Ministry of Steel will be of Deputy Secretary level and has been made for a period of five years with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the post or on a co-terminus basis with the minister or till he ceases to function as Private Secretary to the minister or until further orders.
Mr. Nilesh Deore is an IAS officer of the 2011 batch from the Bihar cadre. Earlier he was posted as District Magistrate of Chapra District.
