The Punjab Government has transferred two IAS officers. Their names and postings are:
1997 batch IAS officer Rahul Bhandari who is currently serving as Principal Secretary, Technical Education and Industrial Training has been given the additional charges of Principal Secretary food, civil supplies and consumer affairs and in addition Principal Secretary Civil Aviation and information and public relation in place of IAS Gurkiral Kirpal Singh.
2010 batch IAS officer Vimal Setia who is currently serving as state transport commissioner, Punjab has been given additional charge of Registrar, Cooperative Societies, Punjab in the place of IAS Nilkanth S. Avhad.
