Completing the process of promotion from other services to the IAS, the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Wednesday, issued a notification for the selection of Director of State Statistics Dr. Om Prakash Bairwa and Director of Rajasthan State Archives, Bikaner, Mahendra Khargawat in the IAS.
Both the officers have been included in the IAS 2020 selection list and will soon be allotted batches. Interviews were conducted in the Union Public Service Commission on December 27 last year for selection on two posts of promotion in IAS from other services. Till now the number of IAS officers in the state is 257
