In a major bureaucratic reshuffle in the state, the Yogi government on Thursday morning has been transferred and posted 16 IAS officers. IAS officer, who is currently working as Additional Chief Secretary (ACS), Information, has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary in Sports ministry. While, IAS Amit Mohan Prasad, who was working as ACS in health ministry, was removed after the question raised on transfers in the health department. He will now handle the small scale industries, handloom departments.
Along with this, IAS officer Aradhana Shukla, Additional Chief Secretary, E=education ministry was sent to the AYUSH department.
IAS Partha Sarathi Sen Sharma has made Principal Secretary in Medical, Health and Family Welfare. Apart from this, Himanshu Kumar has been made Rural Development and Rural Engineering Services, Dr Hariom has been made Principal Secretary, Social Welfare Department, Monika Garg has been made Additional Chief Secretary, Minority Welfare and Muslim Waqf Department. While Mahesh Kumar Gupta has been appointed as Additional Chief Secretary, Energy and Additional Energy Resources Department, Kalpana Awasthi has been appointed as Principal Secretary to the Governor of Uttar Pradesh.
