IPS officer Sanjay Chander appointed as DG, RPF

West Bengal IPS officer Sanjay Chander appointed as Director General of Police, Railways Protection Force.

New Delhi: Sanjay Chander, Additional Director General of Police (ADGP), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India has been appointed as Director General (DG), Railways Protection Force (RPF) on Monday.

Mr. Chander belongs to the 1987 IPS batch of the West Bengal cadre. Formerly, Mr. Chander served as DGP and ADGP of Counter Insurgency Force (CIF).
