16 IPS officers including five deputy commissioners from Bengaluru city polices has been transferred by the government. The city police’s traffic east, southeast, south, west and central divisions have got new DCPs.
DCP South Division, Bengaluru, Harish Pandey has been transferred as SP, Anti-corruption Bureau (ACB), Bengaluru. P Krishnakant, SP of Dharwad has been transferred and posted as DCP South Division.
SP Hassan District, R Srinivas Gowda has been transferred and posted as DCP Central Division. CK Baba has been appointed as DCP Southeast Division. Jyoti Srinath Mahadev, who was the DCP southeast, has been posted as Karnataka Lokayukta.
SP Belagavi, Laxman Nimbargi has been transferred and posted as DCP West, Bengaluru. DCP West, Sanjeev M. Patil has been transferred and posted as SP Belagavi.
Kala Krishnaswamy, SP of ACB Central range has been transferred and posted as DCP Traffic (East Division), Bengaluru. KM Santharaju DCP traffic (east) has been transferred as SP of Bangalore Electric Supply Company Limited (Bescom).
