The Himachal Pradesh Government on Tuesday has done some major reshuffle in its police headquarter. Where, 21 IPS officers, including 8 SPs and three state police services, are transferred. Besides this transfer, 5 IPS probationers have been given the postings.
- Vimukt Ranjan, the present SP of Kangra, has been posted as the Commandant, 1st Indian Reserve Battalion, Bangarh in Una District.
- Khushal Chand Sharma, the SP at Sirmaur, is replacing Ranjan.
- The new Shimla SP will be Monika Bhutunguru. She was posted as assistant inspector general of Police headquarters, Shimla.
- Virender Singh Tomar, one of the IPS probationers, will be joining as commandant, 5th Indian Reserve Battalion, Bassi in Bilaspur District.
- Mohit Chawla, Shimla SP, has been transferred as the SP of Baddi in the Solan district.
- Commandant Anjam Ara, HP Armed Police, Junga has been posted as SP, State Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Bureau, Southern range, Shimla.
- SP Ranjan Chauhan, police headquarters, will be the SP, Lokayukta, Shimla.
