In a major reshuffle the Rajasthan government transferred 75 IPS officers on Monday night.
Range IGs of Jodhpur and Udaipur, Superintendents of Police (SP) of 19 districts and two deputy commissioners of police in Jaipur commissionerate were among those transferred, according to a list issued by the Department of Personnel.
Additional Director General (ADG) (Crime) Raviprakash Meherda has been made DG Civil Rights and Cyber Crime and Armed Battalion ADG Janga Srinivas Rao has been appointed as DG Training, the list stated.
ADGs Prashakha Mathur, Sushmit Biswas, Dinesh MN, Sanjib Kumar and Vishal Bansal have also been transferred.
SPs of Hanumangarh, Bikaner, Sikar, Baran, Jodhpur Rural, Barmer, Sawai Madhopur, Jaipur Rural, Ganganagar, Dungarpur, Bhiwadi, Alwar, Pratapgarh, Dholpur, Rajsamand, Jalore, Banswara, Churu and Tonk; and Deputy Commissioners of Police of Jaipur North and Jaipur East were also transferred.
