1988 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre Manoj Kumar Lal will be new Director General of Police of Puducherry.The incumbent DGP Ranvir Singh Krishnia, a 1989 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre has been transferred to New Delhi. Krishnia was DGP of the UT since January 2021.
The Union Home Ministry on Monday released a order that officially announced the appointment of Manoj Kumar Lal as the new Director General of Police of Puducherry. He is currently serving as Special Director, Intelligence Bureau (IB).
