1987 batch IPS officer of Chhattisgarh cadre, Swagat Das has been appointed to the post of Secretary (Security) in the Cabinet Secretariat. He is currently working as Special Secretary (Internal Security), Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to an order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT) on Saturday (10.12.2022), the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the appointment of Mr. Das to the post of Secretary (Security).
