Three senior IPS officers of Kerala cadre have been promoted to DGP rank. 1990 batch IPS officer Harinath Mishra and 1991 batch IPS officer Ravada Chandrasekhar, who are on central deputation, along with state coastal security division ADGP Sanjeeb Kumar Patjoshi, a 1992 batch IPS officer, are the officials who were given the DGP grade.
Sanjeeb Kumar Patjoshi has been appointed as the Chief of the Fire and Rescue Services. Former head of fire force, Dr Shaik Darvesh Saheb, was appointed as state police chief.
Satheesh Bino has been made the administration division DIG, while IPS Ajitha Begum takes up the post of Thrissur range DIG.
Kalpetta ASP Taposh Basumatary is reassigned to Iritty. BV Vijay Bharath Reddy, who was the Kondotty ASP, has been made the new Varkala ASP.
