Odisha Government Issued A Transfer Order Of 3 IPS Officers

Odisha government issued a transfer order of three IPS officers. Addl. DG of Police, (Vigilance) P.S. Ranpise to join as IG in CRPF on deputation basis.

In a minor reshuffle, the Odisha government issued a transfer order of three IPS officers who will be now holding a new charge. Additional DG of Police, Vigilance, P.S. Ranpise to join as Inspector General in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) on deputation basis.

P.S. Ranpise a senior IPS officer of 1995-batch from Odisha cadre was currently holding the charge of Additional Director General (Vigilance) in the state. He has been transferred as IG in CRPF on deputation basis for a period of five years as per the transfer order released by the Odisha government.

Apart from this, another senior IPS officer, Ghanshyam Upadhyay who was currently the IG of Police, Economic Offences Wing (EOW) has been posted as IG of Police (Vigilance). He took charge of the IG of Police, EOW post in August last year.

IPS officer Gajbhiye SK Ishwardas, who is currently the Superintendent of Police, Computer has been transferred and posted as Principal, Urban Police & Traffic Training Institute, Bhubaneswar.

In this minor reshuffle, two-state cadre police officers were also transferred. Odisha Police Service (OPS) Manoj Kumar Mohanta, who is currently the Additional SP, Kalahandi, has been transferred and posted as SP (I/C), Deogarh.

OAPS, Bijay Kumar Sahoo, who is at present the Principal, Urban Police & Traffic Training Institute, Bhubaneswar, has been transferred and appointed as Commandant 7th Battalion, Bhubaneswar.
