Amid an administrative reshuffle in Punjab, two IPS officers has been transferred and given new charges on Saturday. IPS officer Sachin Gupta has been given the charge of Commandant-cum-deputy Director of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, Punjab Police Academy, Phillaur. Sachin Gupta is 2014 batch IPS officer who also has served as Joint Commissioner of Police, Ludhiana.
IPS Officer Gurudayal Singh has been given the charge of AIG counter Intelligence Department , Ludhiana. Previously he has served as zonal SP & AIG SB & CID SSP Ludhiana rural.
