UP: 11 IPS Officers Shifted, Shalabh Mathur Made DIG Aligarh, Raj Karan Nayyar Will Be SSP, Ayodhya

After the transfers of IAS officers, UP government has now transferred 11 IPS officers. The Yogi Adityanath-led state government issued the orders on late Friday night, with immediate effect. These tranfers include SPs of Ayodhya, Ballia, Fatehgarh and Shahjahanpur and the DIGs of Moradabad and Aligarh ranges.

DIG Moradabad and 2006 batch IPS officer Shalabh Mathur have now been transferred and given the responsibility of DIG Aligarh.

While 2012-batch IPS officer of West Bengal cadre, Raj Karan Nayyar will be new SSP Ayodhya. He is presently on inter cadre deputation in Uttar Pradesh. He was posted in Ballia as Superintendent of Police.

2015 batch IPS officer Ashok Kumar Meena has been appointed as Superintendent of Police Shahjahanpur. He was posted as SP of Fatehgarh.

Apart from this, 2008 batch IPS officer and Additional Police Commissioner Gautam Buddha Nagar, Bharti Singh, has been made transferred to Ghaziabad in same capacity.

S Anand, a 2009-batch IPS officer, has been named as Superintendent of Police Ballia. He was posted in Shahjahanpur as SP.

2009 batch IPS officer and DIG Muniraj G who was posted as SSP in Ayodhya, has been given the command of Moradabad range.

2016 batch IPS officer Shubham Patel has been transferred to the post of Deputy Commissioner of Police in Ghaziabad Police Commissionerate. While Vikas Kumar, an IPS officer of 2017 batch, has been made the SP of Fatehgarh.

Two SPs who were in the waiting list have also been given new responsibilities. Other changes are also in the offing.
