After transferring many IAS officers in last few days, the Yogi Adityanath led Uttar Pradesh government transferred 2 more IAS officers on Wednesday night.
Aides-de-Camp (Aide to Governor or ADC) to UP Governor and 2019 batch IPS officer Akash Patel has been transferred and attached to the DGP headquarters.
While 2020 bath IPS officer Puneet Dwivedi has been appointed as the new ADC to the Governor of the state, Ms. Anandiben Patel. Mr. Dwivedi was posted in Aligarh as Assistant Superintendent of Police.
Ms. Anandiben Patel has been serving as governor of UP since 2019.
WHO IS ADC
It is worth mentioning here that ADC has a major role as he works to enhance the dignity of the Raj Bhavan.
There are two Aide-de-Camps, one from Police and the other from the Army. All the works related to the Governor’s tour to internal security is the responsibilities of the ADCs. The ADCs also supervise the functioning of the Raj Bhavan’s garage, Raj Bhavan telephone exchange and the reception.
Mr. Dwivedi got cadre transfer to UP in September 2022.
On 29 September 2022, 11 IPS officers undergoing training in Hyderabad were transferred to UP.
In this list, the names of IPS Puneet Dwivedi, Amit Kumawat, Chirag Jain, Manush Pareek, Amit Kumawat, Chirag Jain, Manush Pareek, Patil Nimish Dashrath, Shakti Mohan Awasthi, Shiva Singh, Shruti Srivastava, Anukriti Sharma, Ayush Vikram Singh and Chandrakant Meena were included.
