Pratibha Ambedkar, a 2007 batch IPS officer from UP, has been appointed as Deputy Director General (DDG), Bureau of Civil Aviation Security (BCAS).
According to an order issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Wednesday (12.10.2022), the competent authority has approved the appointment of Ms. Ambedkar to the post on deputation basis. The deputation tenure of the officer in the post of DDG in BCAS will be as per IPS tenure policy and will commerce from the date of her assumption of the charge of the said post in BCAS.
