The West Bengal government on Tuesday (01.08.2023) issued transfer and posting orders for four IPS officers.
The names of the officers and their postings are as follows:
- 1992 batch IPS officer Sanjay Singh (WB cadre) who is the ADG Correctional Service, has been transferred and posted as ADG, Armed Police.
- 1998 batch IPS officer Lakshmi Narayan Meena (WB cadre) who is the Additional Director General (ADG), SCRB, has been transferred and posted as ADG Correctional Services.
- 2004 batch IPS officer Sunil Kumar Choudhary (WB cadre) who is the IG, CID, has been transferred and posted as Police Commissioner of Asansol-Durgapur Commissionerate.
- 2007 batch IPS officer Sudheer Kumar Neelakantam (WB cadre) who is the Police Commissioner of Asansol-Durgapur Commissionerate, has been transferred and posted as the OSD, West Bengal Police Directorate (WBPD).
