Lucknow: In a significant administrative shake-up, the Yogi Adityanath-led Uttar Pradesh government has transferred 15 IPS officers late Tuesday night. This marks the second round of high-level reshuffles within 24 hours, following the transfer of 33 IAS, 3 IPS and 8 PPS officers on Tuesday.
The latest list includes major changes in police leadership across seven districts – Mahoba, Jhansi, Banda, Kanpur Dehat, Fatehgarh, Pilibhit, and Sitapur – highlighting the state government’s ongoing effort to optimize administrative efficiency and law enforcement effectiveness.

- Prabhal Pratap Singh, formerly DCP Traffic in Lucknow, has been appointed as Superintendent of Police (SP) in Mahoba.
- BBGTS Murthi has been posted as Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Jhansi.
- Arvind Mishra will now serve as SP Kanpur Dehat.
- Ankur Agarwal, previously SP Banda, is now the SP Sitapur.
- Palash Bansal, earlier SP Mahoba, takes charge as SP Banda.
- Abhishek Yadav moves from SP Railway Prayagraj to SP Pilibhit.
- Aarti Singh has been assigned as SP Fatehgarh, moving from the Kanpur Police Commissionerate.
