Chennai: The MK Stalin led Tamil Nadu government announced the transfer and posting orders for two senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officers on Monday evening.
1997 batch IPS officer Ayush Mani Tiwari, currently holding the position of Additional Director General of Police (ADGP) and stationed on vacancy reserve at the Office of the Director General of Police/Head of Police Force (DGP/HoPF) in Chennai, has been transferred and appointed as the ADGP of the State Crime Record Bureau (SCRB), Chennai.
Meanwhile, 1996 batch IPS officer HM Jayaram, who was serving as the ADGP at the State Crime Record Bureau (SCRB) in Chennai, has been transferred and posted as the ADGP of the Armed Police, Chennai.
These moves are part of the ongoing efforts to enhance the effectiveness of the state’s law enforcement agencies and maintain the efficiency of Tamil Nadu’s police force.
