New Delhi: The Centre has assigned new postings to 2024-batch IAS officers of the AGMUT cadre following the successful completion of their Phase-II training. The officers have been posted across various AGMUT cadre segments, including Delhi, Jammu & Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Mizoram, Puducherry and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
The postings mark the beginning of the officers’ next phase of administrative responsibilities after completing their institutional and district training.

Beginning of Field Administration
Following Phase-II training, IAS officers are posted to their allotted cadre segments where they begin handling field assignments and administrative responsibilities under the guidance of senior officers.
The AGMUT cadre comprises Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Mizoram and Union Territories, with officers serving across Union Territories and select northeastern states based on cadre allocation and administrative requirements.
The latest postings are expected to strengthen administrative capacity across the respective regions while providing young officers with valuable field-level governance experience.
