On June 17th, the government of Telangana mandated the transfer of as many as 28 IPS officers across the state, including several Superintendents of Police (SPs).
Mr. Ashok Kumar (2018-batch IPS officer), a DCP rank officer, replaced Mr. Sunpreet Singh (2011-batch IPS officer) as the SP of the Jagtial district. Officer Singh, has been posted as the SP of the Suryapet district replacing Mr. Rahul Hegde B.K. (2014-batch IPS officer), who was posted as (DCP Traffic Hyderabad City).
Mr. T. Srinivasa Rao (2013-batch IPS officer) became the new SP of the Jogulamba Gadwal district by replacing incumbent SP, IPS Ritiraj, who was asked to assume charge as a Joint Director in the ACB.
IPS D. V. Srinivasa Rao replaced IPS K. Suresh as the SP of the Komurambheem Asifabad district. Officer Suresh was instructed to assume charge as the DCP of Balanagar. IPS Janaki Dharavath replaced IPS Harshavardhan as the SP of the Mahabubnagar district. Officer Harshavardhan was posted as the SP of the Telangana Cyber Security Bureau.
Mr. K. Narayana Reddy (2018-batch IPS officer) replaces IPS N. Kotireddy as the SP of the Vikarabad district. Officer Kotireddy became the DCP of Medchal. Mr. Sharat Chandra Pawar (2016-batch IPS officer), who was last posted as the SP of the Telangana Anti-Narcotic Bureau, replaced Ms. G. Chandana Deepthi (2012-batch IPS officer) as the SP of the Nalgonda district. IPS Chandana Deepthi became the new SP of Railways, replacing IPS Shaik Saleema, who became the DCP of the Central Zone (Warangal).
Ms. Sadhana Rashmi Perumal (2019-batch) was posted as the DCP of North Zone (Hyderabad City), replacing Ms. Rohini Priyadarshini (2012-batch IPS officer), who is now posted as the Commandant of the 7th Battalion in Dichpally by replacing IPS B. Ram Prakash.
Other IPS officers, Mr. Ram Prakash, Mr. P. Seetaram, Officer M.A. Bari, and Officer L. Subbaryudu, were mandated to report to the DGP Office.
Several other IPS officers were posted against existing vacancies. They are Mr. Viswajit Kampati (SP, CID), Ms. Nitika Pant (Commandant, 2nd Bn TGSP Yapalaguda), Mr. Patil Sangramsingh Ganapatrao (Centre for Good Governance), Officer P. Sai Chaitanya (SP, Telangana Anti-Narcotic Bureau).
