New Delhi: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA), Government of India, has issued a significant transfer and posting order for officers belonging to the Indian Police Service (IPS) of the AGMUT cadre. This administrative reshuffle, effective immediately and until further notice, involves the movement of four senior officers between Delhi and Dadra & Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu (DNH&DD), as well as Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
Transfers Bring New Faces to Strategic Posts in Delhi and DNH&DD
According to the official order (F. No.14020/07/2021-UTS.I) issued by the Ministry’s Competent Authority, the following changes have been made:
- Mr Dumbere Milind Mahadeo, IPS (AGMUT 2006 batch), has been transferred from Dadra & Nagar Haveli & Daman & Diu (DNH&DD) to Delhi.
- Mr Amit Sharma, IPS (AGMUT 2010 batch), has been moved from DNH&DD to Delhi.
- Mr Santosh Kumar Meena, IPS (AGMUT 2010 batch), has been repatriated from deputation and posted to DNH&DD.
- Mr Mohd Irshad Haider, IPS (AGMUT 2013 batch), has been transferred from Andaman & Nicobar Islands to Delhi.

The Commissioner of Police, Delhi, has also been formally notified.
