New Delhi: The Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (ALIMCO) has been conferred the prestigious The Institution of Engineers (India) Industry Excellence Award 2026 – Gold in the Engineering Manufacturing and Processing category. The recognition highlights ALIMCO’s efforts in engineering excellence, modern manufacturing practices and indigenous innovation in the field of assistive technology.
The award was presented by General (Retd.) Dr. V. K. Singh, Governor of Mizoram, to Praveen Kumar, CMD, ALIMCO, during a ceremony held on September 19, 2026, at the SCOPE Convention Centre in New Delhi.
