Retired IAS officer Amrut Patel has been appointed as the Chief Information Commissioner of the Gujarat state by the state government. He was posted in the Chief Ministers Office when PM Narendra Modi was the CM of the state.
A notification issued by the general administration department said that an order regarding the terms and conditions of his appointment will be issued separately.
