Mr. Harsh Kumar Gupta (1992 batch IPS), the incumbent Director General of Police, was asked to assume full additional charge as Inspector General of Police (IGP) V&E and E.O. Secretary to Government, General Administration (V&E) Department, Andhra Pradesh, replacing Mr. Kolli Raghuram Reddy (2006 batch IPS officer), who was transferred and directed to report to Mr. Gupta.
