In a strategic initiative to boost logistical efficiency, Balmer Lawrie & Co. Ltd. has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with BEML Limited to provide comprehensive logistics solutions for BEML’s export-import and domestic operations.
The MoU was exchanged on January 20 in Bengaluru by Mr. Adhip Nath Palchaudhuri, Chairman & Managing Director of Balmer Lawrie, and Mr. Shantanu Roy, Chairman & Managing Director of BEML Limited, in the presence of senior officials from both organizations.
The three-year agreement enables BEML to focus on its core production and sales activities while leveraging Balmer Lawrie’s expertise in end-to-end logistics. This partnership is set to enhance operational efficiency, particularly in the defence, rail, and metro sectors, showcasing the potential of public sector collaborations for sustainable growth.
