New Delhi: State-owned Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL) has received fresh defence orders worth ₹1,347.71 crore from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL), marking a significant boost to India’s indigenous defence manufacturing ecosystem. The company disclosed the development through a regulatory filing on June 24, 2026.
The new contracts further strengthen BDL’s order book and reinforce ongoing collaboration among India’s leading defence public sector undertakings under the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat initiative.
Order Details: HELINA and CMDS Systems
The total order value of ₹1,347.71 crore includes key defence system components critical to India’s military capabilities.
The breakup of the order is as follows:
- ₹1,109.37 crore for HELINA Launchers and Line Replaceable Units (LRUs)
- ₹238.34 crore for Counter Measure Dispensing System (CMDS) LRUs
The HELINA missile system is one of India’s advanced indigenous anti-tank guided missile systems, while CMDS LRUs enhance aircraft survivability by deploying countermeasures against enemy threats.

Execution Timeline of the Contract
BDL stated that the orders will be executed over a period of 24 to 60 months. This long execution timeline is expected to provide the company with a stable and sustained revenue flow over the next several years.
