Hyderabad: Bharat Dynamics Limited (BDL), a leading Government of India defense enterprise under the Ministry of Defence, has appointed Commodore Sujay Kapoor (Indian Navy) as Director (Production) on its Board. The appointment, approved by the Ministry of Defence, is for a five-year tenure or until further orders.
Appointment Details
The official approval was conveyed through Office Memorandum No. DDP-M0001(11)/1/2025-D(BDL) Pt.1 dated February 4, 2026. Cmde. Kapoor will assume the role from the date of taking charge.
The move strengthens BDL’s leadership team and reinforces its operational and production capabilities in the strategic defense sector.

The appointment of Cmde. Kapoor is expected to:
