Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) has been recognized as the Best Public Sector Undertaking (PSU) in three key categories—‘HR Excellence (Overall)’, ‘Best R&D Initiative’, and ‘Excellence in Learning and Development’—at the Governance Now PSU Awards 2025.

The awards were presented by Union Minister of State for Coal and Mines Mr. Satish Chandra Dubey, acknowledging BHEL’s exceptional contributions to human resource management, research and development, and employee skill enhancement. Accepting the accolades on behalf of the company were Mr. Krishna Kumar Thakur, Director (HR); Mr. S.M. Ramanathan, Executive Director (OSD/E, R&D); and Mr. M. Sridhar, Executive Director (HR).
