Patna: Bihar has marked its entry into the electronics manufacturing sector with Iconspiral Electronics launching its production unit in the BIADA industrial area in Bihta.
The company has introduced a range of ‘Made in Bihar’ products including laptops, all-in-one PCs, tablets, and mini PCs, signaling a major step toward industrial and digital growth in the state.
Production Begins at Bihta Industrial Unit
The manufacturing unit in Bihta is among the first organized efforts in electronics production in Bihar. The initiative aims to shift the state from a consumption-driven economy to a production-driven economy.
The unit was inaugurated by former industry minister Nitish Mishra, highlighting the government’s focus on attracting industrial investment and promoting technology-driven enterprises.
Focus on Employment and Skill Development
A key objective of the project is to generate employment at the local level.
According to the company:
- Jobs will be created in manufacturing and service sectors
- Youth will get opportunities in electronics assembly and testing
- Technical skill development will be promoted locally
This initiative is expected to provide training and employment opportunities to Bihar’s youth without requiring migration to other states.

India has traditionally relied heavily on imports in the IT hardware sector. This initiative is expected to:

The company was founded by:
- Anamika Singh, who has global experience in business strategy and marketing
- Anupam Singh, with a strong background in electronics engineering and innovation
Anamika Singh has previously worked with Spiral Icon Holdings in Africa, bringing international exposure to the venture, while Anupam Singh focuses on product quality and technological innovation.

The company’s products are BIS-certified and compatible with the Government e-Marketplace (GeM), making them suitable for:
