PATNA: The Bihar government has reshuffled the responsibilities of several senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers, appointing C. K. Anil as the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Education Department. The administrative changes also include additional responsibilities for Arvind Kumar Chaudhary and Amit Kumar Pandey, while Pankaj Kumar has been relieved of an additional charge.
According to the available information, the changes have been made to redistribute administrative responsibilities across key state departments. The new postings and additional charges will remain effective until further orders.
CK Anil Appointed ACS of Bihar Education Department
C. K. Anil has been transferred from his position as Adviser to the Bihar State Planning Council and posted as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, Bihar, Patna.
The appointment will remain effective until further orders. With this change, Anil will take charge of the department’s senior administrative responsibilities.
Arvind Kumar Chaudhary Gets Additional Charge as Agriculture Production Commissioner
Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, who is currently serving as the Additional Chief Secretary of the Cabinet Secretariat Department, has been assigned the additional charge of Agriculture Production Commissioner.
He will continue to discharge his existing responsibilities in the Cabinet Secretariat Department while also handling the duties associated with the additional position until further orders.
Amit Kumar Pandey Given Additional Charge of Agriculture Department
Amit Kumar Pandey, currently serving as Additional Secretary in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department, has been given the additional charge of Additional Secretary in the Agriculture Department.
Under the new arrangement, Pandey will continue with his existing duties in the Revenue and Land Reforms Department while also overseeing responsibilities assigned to him in the Agriculture Department.
Pankaj Kumar Relieved of Additional Charge
As part of the administrative reshuffle, Pankaj Kumar, Principal Secretary of the Home Department, has been relieved of the additional charge of Commissioner, General Administration Department.
The decision changes the allocation of additional responsibilities among senior officials in the Bihar administration.
