Senior bureaucrat Rakesh Gupta who was currently posted as Joint Secretary in the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development, has now been moved to the President’s Secretariat.
This comes after the Appointment Committee of the Cabinet approved the proposal for his appointment.
Rakesh Gupta is a 1997 batch IAS officer of Haryana cadre and was the state’s nodal officer for the Beti Bachao Beti Padaho (save the girl child, educate the girl child) programme.
