In a big administrative reshuffle in Chandigarh, the UT Administration has issued orders of transfer and posting of 7 officers.
This departmental reshuffle has been implemented aiming at enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of various departments within the administration.
2003 batch IFS officer of AGMUT cadre, Mr T C Nautiyal has been given the responsibilities of Chief Conservator of Forests, Chief Wildlife Warden, Secretary of Science and Technology, and Head of the Department for Forest and Wildlife.
2009 batch IFS officer of AGMUT cadre, Mr Arulrajan P has been entrusted with the roles of Conservator of Forests, Deputy Conservator of Forests for HQ and Wildlife, Deputy Conservator of Forests for Botanical Garden and Nature Reserve, Director for Science and Technology and Renewable Energy, Member-Secretary for CPCC, and Special Secretary for Water Resources.
2019 batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre, Mr Rupesh Kumar has been assigned the following roles. He will work as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Secretary of the Red Cross Society, Secretary of the State Transport Authority, Special Excise and Taxation Commissioner, Deputy Commissioner-cum-Collector for Excise, Special Secretary of the House Allotment Committee, Registrar of Cooperative Societies, and Secretary of the Agriculture Marketing Board.
