In the wake of World Tourism Day, 2021 various programs will be organized at the different tourist attractions of the country. The preparations for the celebration programs have been started in Chittorgarh District of Rajasthan also. It is one of the famous tourist attraction in the country which every year attracts many visitors from the world.
The Chittorgarh District Collector Mr. Tarachand Meena plans to promote night tourism on the occasion of World Tourism Day 2021. He also asked the tourism department to prepare a proposal for giving a budget of three lakhs through CSR. The amount will be spent on the preparation of programs which will be held at various tourist spots in the district.
He also informed that 50 CCTV cameras will be installed on the main monuments of the fort and in surrounding places to prevent the increasing encroachment and enhance the vigilance of the administration. He further told, “To promote night Tourism from the beginning, the city’s Masala Chowk would be built on the lines of Jaipur Masala Chowk so that the visiting tourist can plan their stay for a day”. He also instructed to open the fort till night and develop more restaurant facilities on the fort.
