Uttar Pradesh: 148 IAS & IPS Officers Promoted

Six IAS officer are from 1998 batch, they include Alok Kumar III, Anil Kumar III, Anil Kumar Sagar, Pandhari Yadav, Ajay Chauhan and Neena Sharma .These officers were given super time scale and were elevated to the rank of principal secretary.

148 senior IAS and IPS officers of Uttar Pradesh cadre has been promoted on the first day of the New Year. The state Appointment and Personnel Department on Saturday night issued promotion orders of 101 IAS while the Home Department of 47 IPS officers.

Six IAS officer are from 1998 batch, they include Alok Kumar III, Anil Kumar III, Anil Kumar Sagar, Pandhari Yadav, Ajay Chauhan and Neena Sharma .These officers were given super time scale and were elevated to the rank of principal secretary.

The six officers of 2007 batch are Suhas LY, Chaitra V, Dr Muthukumaraswamy B, Prabhu Narayan Singh, Abhay and Dr. Adarsh ​​Singh who have been given secretary-level super-time pay scales. Presently, Suhas LY is district magistrate of Gautam Buddha Nagar.

Apart from this, 29 IAS officers of 2010 batch have got selection grade. Junior Administrative Grade has been given to 41 officers of 2014 batch and senior time scale to 16 officers of 2019 batch.

Besides, IAS officer Sheetal Verma and IAS officer Alok Tiwari of 2007 batch were given super-time pay scale and K K Balaji IAS has been given proforma promotion in the selection grade.

Among the IPS officers, 1998 batch Bhagwan Swaroop Srivastava and Amit Chandra have been promoted to the post of ADG. Six IPS officers have been promoted to IG rank, eight to DIG and 31 to selection grade. Ram Krishna Bharadwaj, Upendra Kumar Agrawal, J.J. Ravinder Gaur, Deepak Kumar, Subhash Chandra Dubey and Akhilesh Kumar have been promoted to the rank of IG.

Keshav Kumar Chowdhary, Ajay Kumar Sahni, Anees Ahmed Ansari, Akhilesh Kumar Chaurasia, Shiva Simpi Channappa, Dinesh Kumar P., Muniraj G. and Bablu Kumar of 2009 batch have been promoted  to DIG rank. Kalanidhi Naithani, Prabhakar Chowdhary, Sanjeev Tyagi, Poonam, Kuntal Kishore, Harish Chander, Satyarth Anirudh Pankaj, Satyendra Kumar, Rathore Kirit Kumar, Shiv Hari Meena, Shailesh Kumar Yadav, among the 31 officers of the 2010 batch have been promoted to the selection grade.
