Mr. Amrinder Singh, 2021-batch IPS officer, has been transferred from the Uttar Pradesh cadre to the Haryana cadre on the grounds of his marriage to Ms. Ruhani, 2023-batch IAS officer.
The cadre transfer has been approved as per the inter-cadre transfer policy, which allows officers to shift cadres based on marital grounds when their spouse belongs to a different cadre.
