New Delhi: Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) organised an important meeting on the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026 at its headquarters, Darbhanga House, Ranchi, on Thursday. The campaign is being conducted from August 17 to November 16, 2026, with a focus on strengthening transparency, accountability and integrity across the organisation.
The meeting was attended by CCL CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh, Director (Finance) Pawan Kumar Mishra, Director (Human Resources) Harsh Nath Mishra, Director (Technical/Operations) C.S. Tiwari, and Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar, along with senior officials, general managers, department heads and employees.
CCL Begins Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026
The programme commenced with the Integrity Pledge, during which officers and employees pledged to uphold honesty, truthfulness and integrity while working in the public interest.
The participants also committed to:
- Follow laws, rules and regulations.
- Promote honesty and integrity in their work.
- Conduct the campaign with enthusiasm.
- Spread the message of vigilance and ethical conduct to a wider audience.
The programme highlighted the importance of making vigilance and integrity an integral part of everyday organisational practices.

CCL CMD Says Vigilance is Everyone’s Responsibility
Addressing the gathering, CCL CMD Nilendu Kumar Singh emphasised that vigilance is not the responsibility of any single department but a collective responsibility of every officer and employee.
He stressed that transparency, accountability and integrity should be embedded in the organisation’s work culture to further strengthen CCL.
Singh also highlighted the importance of effective communication within an organisation. He said that actions and messages should be simple, clear and impactful so that they can reach and benefit a wider audience.
CCL CMD Highlights Last Year’s Blood Donation Initiative
Recalling the previous year’s Vigilance Awareness Campaign, Nilendu Kumar Singh highlighted several initiatives undertaken by CCL.
He particularly mentioned the donation of more than 900 units of blood, describing the initiative as a commendable example of CCL’s commitment towards society.
The initiative reflected how awareness campaigns can extend beyond organisational processes and contribute to wider social welfare.
Five Key Focus Areas of Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026
Chief Vigilance Officer Pankaj Kumar outlined the objectives and planned activities for the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026.
This year’s campaign will focus on five major areas:
- Disposal of Pending Complaints
- Disposal of Pending Cases
- Capacity Building Programmes
- Digital Initiatives
- Contract Management
Officials stressed the need to prepare effective action plans for each focus area while improving transparency and streamlining organisational procedures.
SOP on EMB for Civil Department Launched
During the meeting, a Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) on EMB for the Civil Department was also launched.
The initiative is aimed at providing a structured framework for relevant processes and supporting greater transparency and efficiency in organisational functioning.
CCL Employees Commit to Transparency and Integrity
Officers and employees participating in the programme were urged to make vigilance, integrity and ethical conduct a regular part of their professional responsibilities.
The participants expressed their commitment to strengthening transparency, accountability and an honest work culture across Central Coalfields Limited during the Vigilance Awareness Campaign 2026.
