Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Mr. Vishnu Deo Sai commenced his official visit to Japan with a visit to the historic Asakusa Temple in Tokyo, where he offered prayers for the prosperity, peace, and holistic development of the people of the state.
Highlighting the symbolism of peace and strength represented by the temple, Mr. Sai remarked that Chhattisgarh too is progressing toward becoming a state defined by sustainable development, strength, and harmony.

Meeting with NTT Ltd. to Strengthen Digital Infrastructure
In a significant move towards digital transformation, the Chief Minister and his delegation met Mr. Kayo Ito, CEO of NTT Ltd., a global IT powerhouse operating in over 50 countries with an annual turnover of 90 billion US dollars.
The discussions focused on technology-driven investments in Chhattisgarh, particularly in the areas of cloud computing, cybersecurity, and advanced IT infrastructure. Mr. Sai presented the state as a growing hub for digital innovation and invited the company to explore collaboration opportunities in building Chhattisgarh’s digital ecosystem.
Strengthening Indo-Pacific Trade and Cultural Relations
Later in the evening, Mr. Sai and the delegation attended a formal dinner hosted by India’s Ambassador to Japan, Mr. Sibi George. The occasion provided a platform to discuss broader Indo-Pacific industrial partnerships and potential trade integration.

Chief Minister Mr. Sai emphasized the synergetic potential between Japan’s advanced technology and India’s skilled workforce, noting that the combination could foster deep industrial collaboration. He also highlighted opportunities to position Chhattisgarh as an emerging tourist destination for Japanese travelers, citing its rich cultural and ecological offerings.
